Clients: CNN's Erin McLaughlin

Erin McLaughlin is an international correspondent, based in CNN's London bureau. She has covered a range of stories in the UK and Europe, including Europe's diplomatic response to the crisis in Ukraine, the Conclave of Pope Francis, the London Olympics, the trial of Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito, and the Woolwich terror attacks in London. She also reported on the birth of the Royal baby, Prince George, and the death of former UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

Erin's role as a correspondent requires a professional wardrobe that is hard working and well coordinated. She often has only a few minutes to prepare a bag and hit the ground running to be the first on the scene to report on breaking news. This means she needs to be able to quickly grab pieces that work together that translate to different circumstances, environments and weather conditions as she can often go from one story straight into another, not only with a totally different focus but often also in a different country.

The key is to build a wardrobe of separates that tonally work well together and can be layered to accommodate the conditions and circumstances. For this we can rely on a wardrobe of high quality basics and beautiful classics that bring interest with subtle details and appropriateness. Erin is always pulled together with sophisticated hair and makeup completing the package. It take times and work to build but once you have a formula down, you too can get dressed and be out the door in a flash.

Here are a few examples of looks Erin has pulled together leveraging her wardrobe of well coordinated quality separates.
