In a nutshell - A London-based fashion stylist with strong experience in luxury.
'I created The Loved Object to apply my eye for aesthetic and help people looking to elevate their wardrobe to its full potential.' - Jennifer Schneider
How it began
A deep-rooted love for design, style and music has driven me for as long as I can remember. Growing up in rural Canada, I devoured fashion and interior magazines, nurturing my creative desires and building a strong knowledge base.
After studying music for 14 years, I began my design career as a Visual Merchandiser for a multi-brand furniture retailer. Interior styling had already become part of my personal life and I eagerly began learning about merchandising, operations, accounts and logistics. It was an incredible training platform. My boss and mentor, was also my first styling client, allowing me to design his personal wardrobe and giving me the confidence to pursue my dream of working in fashion.
Selfridges, Central Saint Martins, Dolce & Gabbana
This led me to London where I managed the women's Shoe Galleries at Selfridges, the largest shoe department in the world. Here I began building relationships with clients and designers, VIPs and celebrities, gaining valuable knowledge about luxury retail and customer services.
Wanting to learn the intricacies of fashion and design, I completed a BA in Fashion History and Theory at Central Saint Martins. Meanwhile, I supported myself working in men's tailoring at Dolce & Gabbana's London flagship store. Here, I honed my skills in men's fashion, learning their innate habits and unique approach to dressing.
Burberry & Emilia Wickstead
I then spent two years at Burberry, founding their Historical Archive Department which holds both apparel and ephemera, forging my experience and education. It was an incredible opportunity to work for one of the best luxury fashion houses in the world, alongside some of the leading experts in design and business.
While I loved working for a brand, but missed the more personal styling and clients, I took my varied experience to Emilia Wickstead, where I had an amazing opportunity to be involved in many facets of the business. I also returned to styling and wardrobe-building, forging wonderful relationships with clients. There is no greater satisfaction for me than supporting and encouraging the incredible women I have had the privilege to work with.
